My Elyse & I – WREN Bucket Bag

There is no denying that I am a self-proclaimed Bag, Shoes and Accessories lover. My current collection consists of items from both the High Street and Luxury brands. Both are equally important and fundamental to any wardrobe. If you wish to be experimental, then I would always choose the High Street; because they always gets the basics and trends right. But for the statement pieces, I always desire a Luxury brand. And I have always found it so exciting to discover a new brand and try something unique.

I recently met Emily Cheetham, who is the designer behind the award-winning handbag label Elyse & I. The brand was founded in London in 2005, but she is currently based in Singapore. We first met at Boutiques Fair in Singapore, I was instantly drawn to her gorgeous designs. Elyse & I handbags are designed to fit your lifestyle and there is truly something for everyone. Emily has designed each piece thoughtfully for the moods and needs of the Elyse & I woman. I love that every handbag has a story behind its design and they appeal to those who seek meaning behind beauty.

Her products range from exotic skin clutches with the brand’s signature knot design, to limited edition minaudières, to detachable fringe totes, bucket bags, wallets, bag charms and keyrings. The handbags are both functional and fashionable. She is a true perfectionist, the little details such as adjustable straps, detachable fringes, hidden pockets and magnetic closures blend seamlessly in every handbag and accessory.

Today I am introducing the WREN Bucket Bag in Cobalt Blue. This bag is absolutely gorgeous to hold, the leather is so soft and luxurious. It is perfect for my daily requirements because as a mother of two, I personally need a spacious bag. The WREN Bucket Bag is surprisingly roomy, I managed to fit my full-size wallet, keys, phone, lipsticks and a notebook. I think it’s so important to invest in pieces that are multifunctional, especially for Luxury items. So I really love that it has adjustable straps so it can be worn either as a cross body or shoulder bag.

I choose to style the Wren Bucket Bag against a Metallic look. The colours looked beautiful against the surroundings and the emphasis was on the Cobalt Blue. Metallics are truly the new “neutral” for me, I find them so easy to wear. If you don’t currently own any Metallic pieces in your wardrobe. I recommend staring with a chic pleated skirt, Zara has an amazing collection to choose from. Pleated skirts will work so well with your existing wardrobe. All you have to do is to tuck in any of your Tops, Shirts, T-shirts and Sweaters into your skirt. There are endless possibilities when wearing a Pleated skirt. This is a fun and playful look for a day time lunch, with friends or your better half.

The WREN Bucket Bag is retailing for $365.00 and is also available in a fiery shade of Red. For more information on Elyse & I handbags,  please do visit her website – Elyse & I .

That bag is truly a stunner with its bright blue color and the surprisingly many things you could fit into it! It also goes so well with your beautiful metallic skirt! I agree that blending High Street with luxury brands is essential. Imagine walking in an all Gucci outfit…. now that would just be tacky and neither trendy nor classy. 🙂
Thanks for a great bag tip!

Bucket bags are gaining so much popularity !! I been really loving how cute they look over the traditional purse. The one I have my eye on is the black and red mansur bucket bag but it’s way out of my budget. I absoutley love that intense shade of blue on yours though, such a nice statement colour and piece !
