The Chic way to wear Pink Flamingos

For my third Ramadan look, I decided to choose an outfit that is a bit more fun and playful, because dressing up in Ramadan doesn’t have to be boring :).

I picked a beautiful silk Tunic by Sana Safinaz, one of the most sought after Fashion Designers from Pakistan. I fell in love with this statement piece, there is something so whimsical about the Pink Flamingos. And the Designers use of Black Polka Dots against the Green canvas, worked surprisingly well with the Flamingos, wouldn’t you agree? If you have been following my blog, then you would know my love for colours and trying different colour combinations. I never would have imagined that Pink and Green could work so well together.

Now back to styling this fun look. It is always important to remember when wearing a statement piece like this Tunic, to make sure that it’s the focal point of your look. The rest of your look needs to be coordinated around it and be relatively simple (otherwise the whole look could get too busy). I paired the Tunic with one of my favourite faux leather leggings from Topshop, which made the look more edgy and less girly. And added a skinny belt around my waist to make the Tunic more figure flattering. I always like to have fun with my accessories, they help complete my look but I wanted to make sure they complemented the Tunic. Looking through my accessories drawer, I found the perfect Green Statement Earrings for this look, and the perfect finish were my Pink Manolos. I really enjoyed styling this look, it’s a chic and classy way to wear Flamingos.
