How to Style a Bold Look

As a Blogger, I love to experiment with different styles and colours. And nothing gives me more satisfaction than styling a unique and Bold Look, that would give inspiration to some of you. The key to styling a Bold Look, is to build it around a focal piece and to keep the rest of the look simple.

The last time I was visiting Doha, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Per Lei Couture, a multi-brand luxury boutique, located in Qatar. The boutique is one of my favourite places to shop in Doha. It is especially known for stocking the most coveted pieces from some of the most desired international and regional Designers. You are truly spoiled for choice when you are browsing through the racks at Per Lei Couture.

Some of my favourite pieces at the store were this stunning Lace Top from Romance was Born and these embroidered trousers from Sachin & Babi. Individually they both were such beautiful and unique pieces, but in my mind I knew that they would look even more gorgeous paired together.

As both of the pieces were quite Bold individually, I knew that this look could only work if I kept the accessories simple. So I chose to add accents of Red and Gold, because they have always been my go to colours when I am accessorising against Blue. A style tip I love to share with everyone is that wearing Red and Blue together, is a winning formula for an effortlessly chic look. Both of the colours complement each other so well. So for this look, I thought that my Red M2Malletier bag and Gold Pumps would be the perfect companion. Wouldn’t you agree?

This look was styled as part of a Collaboration with Per Lei Couture, in Doha, Qatar. The store is located at 18 La Croisette in the Pearl, Doha. For more information on the latest collections available at Per Lei Couture please do visit their Instagram – Per Lei Couture Doha.

This is such a statement look from the sheer top with pop of teal peeking out to the fabulous pants and details. I also love this red bag…been swooning over the black one for years. While you have a lot of trends and details going on, they all work cohesively together in this look. What I love about this outfit is that it is so versatile and can be worn to many things. Thanks for sharing your amazing style! xoxo, Christine

I love this beautiful outfit Sarah! The bold lace top with the flared leg pants looks so dramatic and interesting together. Even though it looks like there is a lot going on, I think everything worked together and looks very cohesive. Of course that red M2Malletier bag is the cherry on the top! I have been wanting this bag in black but red looks so much more popping.

You are the queen of bold looks and I feel like I’ve told you this before, but it is so true! I am a huge fan of anything that’s mesh or sheer, so I am definitely loving that blouse you’re wearing with the mint lace underneath! Perfect choice in pants to pair it with as well, what an edgy and feminine look 🙂
