London Diaries (4 of 6) – For all things Sparkly and Metallic

Have you ever walked on the beautiful streets of Notting Hill in London? I fell in love with the neighbourhood, it was so charming, picturesque and secluded, it really did not feel like I was in the city of London. My Photographer and I got off at Notting Hill Station, not knowing where to go to take photographs (it was our first time exploring this part of London). But just walking around the area, there were so many beautiful spots. And when we found this pretty street with Blue and White houses, I knew this would be the perfect location for my Metallic outfit.

I am wearing a gorgeous top designed by my friend Nida Shay, who is one of the most prominent designers in Singapore (I will be doing a separate post on her in the coming weeks). So I own several pieces from her collection, but I really love styling this one in different ways. It is called the Diva Top and it is a real statement piece that has pearls, sequins and crystals embellishments. It is one of those pieces that you can wear with jeans, leather leggings or skirts; and it will always stand out, making you look fabulous. This time I paired it with a pleated Metallic skirt that I bought from Zara on the trip and my trusty Metallic shoes. This is a very chic and classy look, that looked picture perfect on the streets of Notting Hill.

This photoshoot was done by the lovely Amira from Ishtar Photography. She is also a designer and has recently launched her own scarf line, I am wearing one of her exquisite scarves below. Do check her website for these beautiful scarves – http://www.avascarves.com/
