London Diaries (5 of 6) – Ruffles and Pom Poms

While I was in London, I had the opportunity to meet and be photographed by the fabulous Rebecca Botin. This was my favourite photoshoot of the trip, she is an amazing photographer, that understood my vision and knew the perfect spot for my outfit shoot on Notting Hill Road. This look is feminine, chic and edgy; and it would be the perfect outfit for a confident woman that isn’t afraid of wearing a Bold Statement piece.

My Top is from one of my favourite stores, Storets and it’s called the Vivian Ruched Sleeve Top in Navy  http://www.storets.com/vivian-ruched-sleeve-top-1.html. Although I totally recommend wearing Statement pieces like this Top, it is always important to keep that piece the focal point of your look and not to overdress yourself. So make sure you style your Top tastefully, with a simple pair of jeans. I wore one of my favourite jeans from Zara, I really love the wash and the hem detailing of these jeans.

And while I kept most of the accessories simple, I had to wear my new gorgeous Flossy Pom Pom Clutch from Sophia Webster. It was the perfect touch to the look because Ruffles and Pom Poms look absolutely amazing together. This clutch was love at first sight at the Sophia Webster store in London. It is such a fun and unique piece, that surprisingly works with most of my outfits.

Hope this look inspires you to try out a fun and bold Statement Top.

I am a fan of Storets and their amazing and dramatic pieces. This wrap top with balloon sleeves is incredible. I love that you let the top speak for itself and kept the rest of the outfit simple. Such a fun clutch too! xoxo, Christine
