Royal Blue, Tan and a touch of Gold

The inspiration behind my look today began from a recent visit to the In Good Company (http://www.ingoodcompany.asia/) store in ION Orchard (In Good Company is a Singapore based Fashion Label). This was the my first visit to their store and I found their collection absolutely stunning.

Founded in 2012, the brand is known for its signature tailoring and minimalistic yet modern designs. The thing that I liked best about the collection was that it comprises of several wardrobe essentials that are versatile enough to be dressed up or down and can be worn everyday. They use solid colours for their collection that are very classic and in general easy to wear and match with your existing wardrobe. I think if you were to pick just one piece, it would take you from a day at work, to a brunch with friends or to a night out. All the pieces are very well made and put a twist of modernity on classic silhouettes.

The Top that I am wearing today is called the JOSEF Stretch Cotton Top (retailing for S$ 129.00). It is a very modern cut, with a simple neckline but has very exaggerated wide sleeves, which give it a very different silhouette. The sleeves can be styled in two ways they can worn long or be folded up (as I did for my look). This Top could be worn with a skirt, culottes, formal trousers or even a pair of shorts (Just remember to change the look for the right occasion with the correct accessories).

I personally love the modern and structured look of this Top, but I wanted to create a more figure flattering look so I added a Gold belt from ASOS.  The top is such a gorgeous Royal Blue, so I paired it with Tan coloured trousers from Zara which complement it perfectly. I completed the look with one of my favourite necklaces from Zara (love the colour of the stones, they make the necklace so versatile), some Gold Bracelets and my super shiny Gold Shoes. I think all three colours, Royal Blue, Tan and Gold work exquisitely well together, don’t you agree?
Ladies living in Singapore do visit the In Good Company store if you already have’t, I can’t believe I have just discovered it myself but its a gem and any piece from their collection will change your wardrobe forever :). I can’t wait to add more beautiful pieces to my wardrobe.
