How to Dress Up Olive Green with Pastel Pink

We all have that one pair of clothing in our wardrobe that provides comfort for us. It’s a piece that you can wear everyday and in multiple ways. After I left full time work to take on my motherly responsibilities, I saw more of a shift towards comfort in my wardrobe. It was natural because of all the running around required with children. So one of my most favourite pair of comfort clothing are these Olive Green jogger trousers from Topshop.

They are my goto pair especially on those hectic mornings with the children. On a daily basis I would wear them casually with a T-shirt and a pair of slides. But I thought it would be interesting to dress them up and wear them differently. Olive Green can look incredibly luxe and classy, if worn correctly. So it’s very important to pair it with a complementary colour. I personally love to wear Olive Green with Pastels or Neutrals, it always looks very fresh.

For this outfit, I wanted to create a very soft and feminine look. So I paired the trousers with one of my favourite Silk Tops from Zara (bought during the December Sale). I love how the soft Pastel Pink complements the Olive Green. It looks very light and airy, this look is totally appropriate for both work or an off duty day. I kept the accessories minimal, but choose to wear one of my favourite shoes from MASHIZAN, these lace up beauties are called the Kristy Silver. If I had worn a pair of flat shoes with this look, I would look very causal. So a good pair of shoes can completely transform your look.

Experimenting with items in your existing wardrobe can be so much fun. Some outfit combinations can completely surprise you and work so well. Always remember, you can pull any look off as long as you look confident. I hope this inspires you to dress up your most comfortable pair of clothing.

I love this color combo! Didn’t know blush pink & olive green can go so well together and the olive green joggers look comfy but when paired with the blouse can be preppy too 😉

Your fashion taste is really great (I’m so happy I can see all your OOTDs on IG)! And I’m such a huge fan of olive+nude! Moreover, peg pants are my fav kind of pants! 😉
    Have a great day Sarah!
