My last look from my London trip had to feature another stunning pleated skirt;I really wasn’t kidding when I wrote earlier that “I over indulged on pleated skirts this trip” :). As surprising as it sounds, I only started experimenting with skirts a year ago (when I began the Blog). But soon after I fell in love with their versatility and loved styling them. I hope you can see this through my posts and are inspired to wear skirts in different ways.
For this look, the pleated Silver skirt that I am wearing is from Zara (retailing at S$89.90 in stores right now). I initially thought that this skirt would be hard to wear (because of it’s shiny colour) and I was hesitant to buy it. But after trying several different Top combinations, I realised that this skirt looks best when worn casually. And it looked fantastic when I wore it with a Grey Metallic T-shirt. So if you feel like you’re ready to buy this skirt, try wearing it with a T-Shirt/Shirt that’s Neutral, Monochrome, Striped or Pastel. The key is to make sure that your Top is simple and you will look very chic wearing this skirt.
I kept the accessorises simple, but I really wanted to wear this stunning statement necklace that was given to me by one of my best friends in London. This necklace is from Avaaya, which is an online UK accessories store (it has several gorgeous statement pieces). Here is the link to the store if you want to view their pieces – https://www.shopavaaya.com/.
My shoes are from Zara and even though I have seen them all over Instagram, that didn’t stop me from buying them because they are the most comfortable pair I own. And the style is so unique and classy, another must buy from Zara.
Hope you liked my outfit shots from London, do let me know your favourite one :).
This look was shot by the fabulous Rebecca Botin (I spoke about her briefly in my last post). But for more information on Rebecca Botin do check her website and Instagram Feed – http://www.rebeccabotin.com/.
