Off Duty – Chic Weekend Look

Usually on the weekends, I tend to wear outfits that are comfortable and fuss free. A typical weekend for me involves meeting friends for Brunch, taking the children to a birthday party and having date night with my husband (I also try to run as many errands as I possibly can in between).

So when I think about dressing up in the day on the weekend, I often choose this skirt from Warehouse (I bought it in three colours!). The skirt is so versatile, I love how it’s so voluminous and figure flattering (perfect for hiding those extra pounds you may have gained at Brunch). I paired it with a chic Striped Top, because you can never go wrong with Stripes, especially for an off duty look.

To make the outfit more weekend appropriate, I choose to be more playful with the accessories. So I wore a pair of my favourite Statement Earrings (these were $9 at H&M) and for a pop of colour, I wore my Emerald Green Padlock Gucci Signature Bag.

But my favourite piece from the entire look has to be my Leather Bow Slides. I bought these recently from Zara, they are retailing for $70.00 in stores right now. And if you are a shoe lover like me, than these slides are a must-have to add to your shoe collection. Not only are they the perfect touch to any outfit; they are also so comfortable, I can literally run all my errands in them.

The skirt looks really comfy and I love how versatile you can be with it! Id personally probably put on a simple top and a long coat. I definitely understand why you got it in 3 different colors!!

Love the voluminous A-line shape of that skirt! It definitely looks super versatile and comfortable – I’d want one in every color too! I really wish I had picked up one of those Zara slides but alas it’s winter here now. Hopefully next year! 🙂
