Monochrome with a touch of Red

My look today was built around one statement piece, my H&M Skirt (from H&M’s Conscious Collection 2016). It is a silk blend skirt with lace detailing and every time I wear it I love how delicate and feminine it feels.

There are so many ways to wear this versatile piece, I decided to go with a Monochrome look, so that the detailing of the gorgeous skirt would stand out. And there is something incredibly chic about a Monochrome outfit, don’t you agree? As much as I love wearing colours, there are many days I could live in a Monochrome Look, because its easily to pull off, very flattering and you can never really go wrong with it.

For the look today, I wore a simple Black Top but styled it with some fun accessories. I added one of my favourite belts from ASOS to create a more fitted, structured look and figure flattering look. Not only were my Kurt Geiger Nude Sandals the perfect colour match with the skirt, they also worked with with the detailing of the belt, so they had to be worn. And my Red Chanel Boy Bag completed the look to perfection.

I truly believe that accessories play such an important role in your overall look and you can see this step by step in the pictures below. Always remember your accessories ladies and if you ever need any advice on how to use your accessories to complete a look do email me :).
